There are a few countries that are nearly impossible to invade. These nations have the best defenses in the world. The first country on this list is Switzerland. The landlocked nation is a major global power.

The United Kingdom

The United Kingdom, or the UK, is a world-leading nation with significant economic, cultural, and military influence. It is also a nuclear power and holds a permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council.

Britain is an island nation in northwest Europe, bounded by the Atlantic Ocean and the English Channel to the west; the Celtic Sea and the Irish Sea to the east; and France and Northern Ireland to the south. It is made up of England, Scotland, and Wales.

The legal systems of England and Scotland are based on common law principles, while the judicial system of Northern Ireland is largely based on civil law. There is also a separate legal system in Scotland, known as Scots Law, which is largely a hybrid of English Common Law and civil law.

Bhutan

Bhutan is a small, landlocked country in the eastern Himalayas. It is surrounded by China to the north, the Chumbi Valley of Tibet to the east, and the Indian states of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam to the south.

The country is ruled by a king. It is a Buddhist state that is majority Ngalops, with the Sharchops and Lhotsampas making up the other ethnic groups.

Ngawang Namgyal, the first king of Bhutan, established a system of government that was based on both monastic and civil authority. A Je Khenpo (head abbot) was appointed to manage religious institutions, while the Druk Desi (regent of Bhutan) was charged with civil matters.

During the reign of his son, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, Bhutan began to gradually emerge from its isolation, with a National Assembly and a code of laws. The country has also been a member of the United Nations since 1971.

Canada

Canada is the second-largest country by land area, with ten provinces and three territories stretching across North America from the Atlantic to the Arctic. It is an incredibly difficult country to invade.

The Canadian people have a unique history and view of the world. They have a strong connection with Europe and a deep distrust of the United States.

This is reflected in their political philosophy and culture. They tend to favor orderly government over individualism, and they are less willing to wage war abroad than Americans are.

Australia

Australia, the world’s smallest continent and its biggest island, is a country with a diverse population that includes Indigenous Aborigine groups that had lived in the area for thousands of years before Europeans arrived.

It’s located between the Pacific and Indian oceans in the southern hemisphere, with its capital, Canberra, in the southeast between the larger and more important cities of Sydney and Melbourne. It is governed by a federal government that exercises limited sovereignty over the states of New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, and South Australia.

The Australian government is expanding its military presence, especially in Northern Australia, to build a naval base there and deepen cooperation with allies and partners. It has signed a security agreement with the United Kingdom and the United States to develop nuclear-capable attack submarines and unmanned underwater vehicles.

China

China is the world’s most populous country, with an estimated population of 1.44 billion. It is the second-largest economy in the world and the third-largest by territory, encompassing 14 countries.

It is a formidable military power. It spends more on defense than any other country and has an extensive array of military capabilities, including aircraft, missile technology, and cyberattacks.

But in any military conflict, the PLA would require far more troops to defend Taiwan than it could send to invade. In addition, there is a considerable distance between the two sides.
